Simply Just – Terms and Conditions Overview

1. Introduction
Simply Just is a live entertainment consultancy specialising in acoustic music bookings. We connect professional acts with quality venues, offering a fair, efficient, and transparent service.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all acts and venues working with Simply Just.
2. General Terms
All bookings, performances, and services arranged through Simply Just are subject to these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing by a director of Simply Just.By accepting a booking through Simply Just, both the Venue and the Artist (Act) agree to adhere to the conditions outlined below.
3. Admin Fees & Payment Structure
Simply Just charges a flat £15 admin fee per public performance. This fee is not commission-based and remains the same regardless of the performance fee.
Example: A £150 gig will incur a £15 admin fee.
Example: A £1000 gig will also incur the same £15 admin fee.
Admin fees are invoiced separately and are to be paid within 7 days of receipt unless agreed otherwise.All performance fees are inclusive of any travel, food, and accommodation costs, unless otherwise stated in writing.Fees are paid directly to the artist or via Simply Just as agreed on a per-booking basis.
4. Cancellation & Change Policy
4.1 – Changes Made by Acts or VenuesA £15 admin fee will be charged to both acts and venues in the event of:Date changesPerformer substitutionsFull cancellations
4.2 – Venue-Initiated CancellationsIf a venue cancels a confirmed booking:Within 14 days of the event: Full fee + £15 admin fee to be paid.Between 14 and 21 days before the event: 50% of the agreed artist fee + £15 admin fee to be paid.More than 21 days in advance: Only the £15 admin fee is due.
4.3 – Act-Initiated Cancellations
Acts are expected to fulfil all confirmed bookings.
If an act is unable to perform, they must notify Simply Just immediately.
A replacement will be sourced where possible and keeping the high caliber of act booked.
A £15 admin fee will apply for each act change or cancellation.
4.4 – Right to Substitute or Cancel
Simply Just reserves the right to:Change the booked act in the event of illness, emergency, or breach of terms.Cancel any agreement or performance if an act breaches the terms outlined in this policy.
5. Expectations of Acts
All acts must be professional, punctual, and respectful of venue rules and audiences.Acts are responsible for bringing necessary equipment unless otherwise specified.Acts must notify Simply Just of any changes to availability or circumstances as soon as possible.Acts are responsible for submitting performance invoices in a timely manner.
6. Expectations of Venues
Venues must provide a safe, accessible space for performance and allow adequate setup time.A point of contact should be available on the day of the event.Any hospitality, food or drink provisions should be clearly agreed in advance.No fixed-term contract is required unless explicitly agreed in writing or verbally with a director of Simply Just.
7. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All design work, logos, artwork, written content, and concepts produced by or for Simply Just remain the property of Simply Just unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No venue, act, or third party may use, reproduce, or distribute Simply Just branding or materials without express written permission.
Misuse of copyrighted content may result in legal action.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising between acts, venues, or Simply Just will be addressed professionally and fairly.We aim to resolve issues informally where possible, but reserve the right to escalate matters to legal proceedings if necessary.
9. Agreement & Acceptance
By working with Simply Just, whether as an artist or a venue, you agree to be bound by the above Terms and Conditions.
